In fact, it’s so large that it takes up 6 feet of space under your truck, and the only protection provided by the factory is a thin plastic shield. Not only is the fuel tank a vulnerable part on the underside of your Raptor, it’s also a costly repair if it gets damaged. They also utilize existing mounting points, so you don’t need to drill or tap to install. All corners and edges are bent at 80-degrees and reinforced to provide even greater strength.
